Uh.. Most healthy supper I’ve had in a week. 

Frittata (egg ham peppers onion), mashed potato, carrots peas string beans and turnip.

While I was out yesterday, I ran into a good friend at Starbucks in the city (neither of us live or work downtown so this was rather amusing). 

Last night Mitch took me to “le Bistro”… an adorable little french bistro, with an atrium of windows. It was so summery, plaid tablecloths and candles in wine bottles and the three feet of snow outside just didn’t make any sense at all. 

I started with french onion soup, and then had the pasta special for the day… linguine with shrimp, tomatoes, basil, and caramelized onion. 

It was lovely. 

Today I work split shift (ergh)… we might be busy, we have a pancake tuesday special. $5 for all you can eat pancakes. I just hope that if we ARE busy it isn’t until tonight, when I’m serving. But at the same time, if people are coming for pancakes my sales are going to be WAY too low for the amount of work that I’ll be doing running pancakes back and forth to everybody for 3 hours.

PHOTOGRAPHER PERKS

Believe it or not I’ve probably had healthier meals at this function than I have in the last week.

Today lunch was a big pile of steamed veggies, some fresh slices of cucumber and tomato, a few spoonfulls of wild rice and a whole wheat roll. So. Good.

Dinner was two spinach salads (nobody sitting at the spot beside me ahaha), half of this steak (I can never eat much steak), the lobster tail, potatoes, and under all that nonsense is asparagus and carrot. 

I was so full after the boatload of spinach that I only ate half of my cheesecake for dessert ;) and it was lovely.

My moves app (I’ll talk about this tomorrow) said that I’ve walked 13,000 steps today. .. !!!!!!!! (and thats only when I’ve had my phone on me, which was most of the show).

I’ve been through the desert on a horse with no name….

OOPITYY OOOOO   massive squishy king sized bed in a huge beautiful hotel of beautifulness and I don’t even have to pay for it. Not used to that yet. 

This event is going well. And I’ve had two other companies request work from me while I’m here. So thats pretty cool.

How many people are you following? Is there a reason?

Just curious… I’m following 408… once a month or so I will go through and unfollow blogs that have been inactive for over a month… I like constant movement on my dash. 

It kinda sucks because it is harder for me to have relationships with some of you, especially if you only post once or twice a day.

I need to swear myself off of poutine. Really.
Shit.

I’m not even supposed to be eating dairy. 
I always feel awful. 
I don’t know why I do this to myself. 
But in other news, it’s sunny and warm today!!!!!!!!!!! It’s been -15 (C) before wind chill for the last week or two.
I think it’s only -7 or something today. 
But it feels warmer because the sun is warm.

I need to swear myself off of poutine. Really.
